We are looking for creative individuals to join the Krabbenhoft Fish Genomics Lab. We often have openings for postdoctoral researchers, technicians, and Ph.D. and Masters students. Information about our graduate program in the Department of Biological Sciences at the University at Buffalo can be found here. Trevor is also a member of the interdisciplinary RENEW Institute at UB and works closely with others in the Freshwater Coastal Ecosystems focus area. An example of our work in RENEW can be found here.
We anticipate hiring several research scientists / technicians / students for field sampling in spring/summer/fall 2023. We are particularly interested in hiring people with boat experience for electrofishing crews for invasive species research on the Niagara River. Please reach out if interested in learning more. Formal job ads should be posted in fall 2022 or winter 2023.
If you're interested in joining the lab, please feel free to send informal inquiries to the contact information below. Please make clear you're not a spam bot in the email; we are unfortunately not hiring spam bots right now (but stay tuned!).
